Review of Sunday Riley Juno Oil dupe
You’re not going to believe this but we’ve found a nearly identical but much more affordable alternative for the Sunday Riley Juno Antioxidant + Superfood Oil $72 for 35mL. The brand describes this product as an "active blend of a cold-pressed powerhouse of superfood seed oils, this formula nourishes the skin with antioxidants, vitamins, essential amino acids, omegas 3, 6, and 9, and naturally soothing agents for a luminous, radiant complexion." This is a beloved face oil of many diehard skincare fanatics and Sunday Riley fans.
The brand that’s answering many skincare dreams by making a highly similar comparable is the UK based madebySunday. The madebySunday Boss Oil clocks in at an amazing 94 pts Match Score as against the Sunday Riley Juno oil. It has the same claims and according to the brand "it’s rich in antioxidants, amino acids, omega oils and vitamins, to restore your skin and protect it from environmental stress."
They are both a mix of 9 cold pressed oils. Boss Oil contains the exact same 8 out of 9 cold pressed oils as the Sunday Riley Juno and in almost the same order:
The only difference is the 9th oil in both formulas. Instead of using cold pressed blueberry oil like Sunday Rily Juno, the madebySunday Boss Oil uses pomegranate seed oil. We don't mind, we already eat a lot of blueberries. ;)
The Boss Oil is 50mL and only $42. That’s almost double the size as Juno for $30 less. We were so excited when we discovered this product that we reached out to the brand to ask what the deal is with international shipping since they’re based in the UK. Our SKINSKOOL community is global so we knew you'd have that question. They kindly said they’d offer free international shipping on orders $42+ to anyone using the exclusive code SKINSKOOL40. Review of dupe for Chanel Water Fresh Tint Foundation
Are you FOMO’ing for Chanel? If you’re looking for a more affordable alternative to the Chanel Les Beiges Water Fresh Tint, you’re in luck. In the brand’s own words, the Water Fresh Tint is “A light-to-medium coverage foundation with a gel texture and pigmented micro-droplets that create a radiant, healthy-looking glow”. Rose Inc., the brand recently launched by supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whitely has a stellar dupe in what looks like an even wider shade range. Their newly launched Rose Inc. Skin Enhance Luminous Skin Tint gets a 76pts Match Score as against Chanel according to our know it all SKINSKOOL algorithm. 76 pts is huge especially when combined with our comparative analysis. The Rose Inc. Skin Tint is described by the brand as a “A hydrating skin tint that bridges the gap between powerful skincare and luminous makeup to instantly deliver sheer, radiant coverage”. Sounds pretty similar to the Chanel product if you ask us.
And check out the very similar looking texture photos from the 2 brand sites.
The great part is that the Rose Inc. Skin Tint is only $49 for the same 30mL but without the brush. Chanel comes standard with a brush for $65 but I think many people already have suitable brushes. It also seems a bit wasteful, what if you buy a second bottle do you really need another brush.
Need more evidence that it’s a dupe? What about the fact that Rosie’s makeup artist has said they used the Chanel Water Fresh Tint quite a bit to achieve glowy skin that lasts all night in an interview: further proof that the Chanel product might have been the inspo behind it.
