Sunscreens

Why it's a stand out alternative

For the closest alternative on the market on a key ingredient analysis, it would appear by an INCI list compare that e.l.f. Cosmetics has done a great job following up the iconic Glowscreen with a glowy primy sunscreen of their own. On a side by side compare, it appears that both are lightweight sunscreens with priming capabilities for longlasting makeup wear. Both use similar sunscreen filters with e.l.f. using an extra one homosalate that Supergoop! doesn’t have. Both contain glycerin. Both contain niacinamide to even out skin tone and help reduce the appearance of pores. Both contain hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5 for hydration. Their SPF factors differ, 40 for Glowscreen and 30 for Whoa Glow and Whoa Glow comes in 2 seemingly more shimmery shades than the single shade Glowscreen. The other thing to note is that the e.l.f. Whoa Glow contains at least one ingredient that Supergoop! states it doesn't use in its products. In terms of a price advantage, e.l.f. Whoa Glow wins!
