How it works
The face mask appears to support skin hydration and conditioning primarily through its blend of ingredients. Squalane serves as an emollient to help maintain skin softness, while Sodium Hyaluronate is included to retain moisture. Argania Spinosa Sprout Cell Extract and Alteromonas Ferment Extract are used for their conditioning properties. Aloe Vera Leaf Extract contributes to moisture replenishment, and Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract is added for its antioxidant properties. Curcuma Longa Root Extract and Vernonia Appendiculata Extract provide soothing qualities, potentially aiding in skin appearance improvement.

Brand Collected
This is the best moisturizer. Not greasy and leaves my skin feeling so freshened up and soft.
Brand Collected
It's truly helping to heal my barrier and my cheek type II rosacea has been calming down as well. Using it consistently morning and night since December.

Super hydrating and has helped my oil production get more under control. It says it is a "mask " but I have been using nightly as a moisturizer. I use a tiny bit in the AM as well. Smells and feels great.

First of all I LOVE Clearstem as a brand, and I tried really hard to love this product. I needed a heavy moisturizer so I used it 2x daily as such (I can't imagine using this as a moisturizing mask...more on that in a second). The texture is really thin and it leaves a pretty, satin matte sort of finish. It's not greasy which makes it a great moisturizer. However it is so ASTRINGENT! I felt like I was going crazy but after a couple of weeks, there is no doubt in my mind it's this product. My skin got drier, and drier, and drier until I had patches. It's very confusing to me that a product intended to be deeply hydrating has white willow bark extract; that is basically natural salicylic acid. I can't say for sure that's what's causing the problem, but it's my best guess. There are a ton of super excellent ingredients in this, it's honestly so close to perfect. But in practice it just sucks all the moisture from my face. If it were thicker and didn't have the astringent in it, I think it could be amazing. I tried to make it work by adding hydrating mist under, hydrating serum, slugging over top of it with the recommended Alba Un-Petroleum, taking fish oil, drinking tons more water, but nothing worked until I stopped using this mask. Marketing this as a mask is even stranger because it's so light and thin. I so badly want a good hydrating product from Clearstem. I've tried to use exclusively their products but when it comes to the moisturizing components of my routine, I've had to turn to other brands. Which is very hard because most have pore-cloggers! Same thing with the Bounce Back serum, it's supposed to be great for your barrier and hydration but it lit my face on fire each time I used it. I absolutely adore BrightEyes, CellRenew, Lips & Cutes, Spot&Mask, VitaminScrub, MindBodySkin, and soon to receive the body lotion. But I am begging for Clearstem to rework or add more hydrating options to include no irritants/actives and more moisturization. Also not for nothing, I love the smell of every Clearstem product and really appreciate that they have nice smells, except this one. It's such a strong grape soda scent, it actually gives me a bit of a headache. On a positive note, it caused zero acne and my skin was very clear using it...just so tight and dry that it felt it would crack. I aged about 10 years until I stopped using it haha. I hope this review is helpful because I seem to be the only person on this site, on Insta, anywhere who didn't have success with this product. :( Anyway I still love and am thankful for Clearstem!
