How it works
The cleansing balm works by initially applying as a jelly that transforms into an oil when massaged on the skin. This warming effect can help to open pores and assist in cleansing. Glycerin functions as a humectant, helping to attract moisture to the skin. Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil and Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil act as emollients to provide skin conditioning. Mineral Oil assists in effectively removing makeup and pollutants. Sucrose Stearate and Poloxamer 184 work as emulsifiers and surfactants, allowing the product to mix with water and dissolve impurities. Beeswax acts as a thickening agent, giving the balm its initial jelly texture, while Tocopheryl Acetate provides antioxidant properties to protect the skin. Upon contact with water, the balm converts to a milky consistency that rinses off easily, designed to leave the skin with a hydrated and clean feel.
