What it is
The product is a body scrub formulated with alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) such as lactic acid and glycolic acid, along with physical exfoliants. It's designed to improve skin texture by removing dead skin cells, potentially leaving the skin feeling smoother and hydrated. It is presented in a creamy base, providing an exfoliating experience while aiming to maintain a moisturized feel.
Key ingredients and their functions
- Lactic Acid - exfoliant
- Glycolic Acid - exfoliant
- Zea Mays (Corn) Cob Powder - physical exfoliant
- Glycerin - moisturizing agent
- Cetearyl Alcohol - emulsifier
- Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil - skin conditioning agent
- Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Fruit Oil - skin conditioning agent
- Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil - skin conditioning agent
How it works
This body scrub utilizes both chemical and physical exfoliants to enhance skin texture. Lactic acid and glycolic acid serve to chemically exfoliate by dissolving dead skin cells, allowing fresher skin to emerge. Zea Mays (Corn) Cob Powder acts as a physical exfoliant, providing a mild abrasive action to remove dry and flaky areas. Glycerin retains moisture in the skin, ensuring it stays hydrated. The inclusion of emollients like sunflower seed oil, sea buckthorn fruit oil, and jojoba seed oil helps to enhance skin softness and overall condition. Together, these ingredients aim to leave the skin feeling smoother and supple without the use of harsh chemicals.

This review is from my wife. This body scrub has a very light coconut scent but the scent doesn't stay or linger long after applying it. The scent goes away quickly.I have been using it daily for over a week and so far no skin irritation. The product label says "improve skin texture for a radiant glow". I cannot confirm this claim, but my skin does feel softer and smoother after the shower. Price wise it appears comparable to other drug-store brand scrubs of similar quality.I can recommend this body scrub. I had no issues with it.

I got this scrub specifically for my knees. They have a patch of dark, rough skin that just won't go away other than if a scrub with a pumice stone and that really irritates them. I have used other scrubs so thought the AHA version might work better. In a nutshell, I do feel like it was effective. The roughness and dark patches are still there BUT the skin is smoother and lighter. I plan to keep using it and expect further improvement. The scrub is creamy, and sort of a medium texture--not too thick and gritty and not watery. I personally wish there were more granules so it was a little more scrubby. The texture would work well even if you have sensitive skin, so I'd call it a good all-purpose body scrub. The scent is mild, not chemical-y or overly artificial. Overall, a useful product.

This product is fantastic. Smells great. I love that it has Alpha Hydroxy acid in it. It also is a great way to exfoliate your skin. It leaves my skin super soft and clean. It takes away impurities and skin is glowing in all its beauty.

This is a really great body scrub! Sadly, mine broke coming in the mail, and it spilled all over the rest of my items in my box. It does really smell amazing and work really good to exfoliate your body. Definitely recommend trying it out though, just remember your sunscreen after.
