What it is
The product is a body scrub formulated with alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) such as lactic acid and glycolic acid, along with physical exfoliants. It's designed to improve skin texture by removing dead skin cells, potentially leaving the skin feeling smoother and hydrated. It is presented in a creamy base, providing an exfoliating experience while aiming to maintain a moisturized feel.
Key ingredients and their functions
- Lactic Acid - exfoliant
- Glycolic Acid - exfoliant
- Zea Mays (Corn) Cob Powder - physical exfoliant
- Glycerin - moisturizing agent
- Cetearyl Alcohol - emulsifier
- Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil - skin conditioning agent
- Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Fruit Oil - skin conditioning agent
- Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil - skin conditioning agent
How it works
This body scrub utilizes both chemical and physical exfoliants to enhance skin texture. Lactic acid and glycolic acid serve to chemically exfoliate by dissolving dead skin cells, allowing fresher skin to emerge. Zea Mays (Corn) Cob Powder acts as a physical exfoliant, providing a mild abrasive action to remove dry and flaky areas. Glycerin retains moisture in the skin, ensuring it stays hydrated. The inclusion of emollients like sunflower seed oil, sea buckthorn fruit oil, and jojoba seed oil helps to enhance skin softness and overall condition. Together, these ingredients aim to leave the skin feeling smoother and supple without the use of harsh chemicals.

Wow all around! The smell is divine! I wished body wash and body lotion smelled like this because it is my absolute favourite. I only use it once a week and my skin is so soft and summer ready. Not stripping at all.

My teens suffer from keratosis pilaris on the backs of their arms (chicken skin) and after a winter of long sleeves, needed a good scrub to smooth out the roughness and prep them for spring and summer. This Q+A exfoliating scrub did the trick! It's an amazing smelling, summery scented coconutty-vanilla slurry with a mild abrasive that works perfectly at smoothing the skin by sloughing off the dead cells. It's a bit rough, coarse and granular, so I cannot recommend use on the face or more delicate body skin. After a good rinse, the skin looks and feels smoother. Using this daily may be a bit much, so every other day would likely be best. It's not obviously moisturizing, so an after-shower/bath lotion would be helpful. At $10 (price at time of review), this is a well-priced quantity for the price and may become our go-to chicken bump remover moving forward!

I love the smell of this, It's very vanilla forward with a touch of coconut. I didn't find the body scrub too rough and was gentle enough for sensitive skin. The scrub is very fine.

I was very surprised when I first used this exfoliating body wash by Q+A because it is very sweet smelling, like vanilla cookies. Because it comes in bright green packaging, I expected it to smell fruity. I actually really enjoy the sweet scent. The scrub is very fine. It's not heavily gritty, it's more of a gentle exfoliation. I like to use it on damp skin (not dripping wet) and really massage it in before rinsing for best results. It rinses off cleanly and leaves my skin feeling soft, no residue. This scrub also contains AHAs, so the more I use it, the softer my skin should get. I'm hoping to see results with the KP I get on my arms, so I'm going to keep using this scrub. So far so good.
