What it is
The product is a body scrub formulated with alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) such as lactic acid and glycolic acid, along with physical exfoliants. It's designed to improve skin texture by removing dead skin cells, potentially leaving the skin feeling smoother and hydrated. It is presented in a creamy base, providing an exfoliating experience while aiming to maintain a moisturized feel.
Key ingredients and their functions
- Lactic Acid - exfoliant
- Glycolic Acid - exfoliant
- Zea Mays (Corn) Cob Powder - physical exfoliant
- Glycerin - moisturizing agent
- Cetearyl Alcohol - emulsifier
- Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil - skin conditioning agent
- Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Fruit Oil - skin conditioning agent
- Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil - skin conditioning agent
How it works
This body scrub utilizes both chemical and physical exfoliants to enhance skin texture. Lactic acid and glycolic acid serve to chemically exfoliate by dissolving dead skin cells, allowing fresher skin to emerge. Zea Mays (Corn) Cob Powder acts as a physical exfoliant, providing a mild abrasive action to remove dry and flaky areas. Glycerin retains moisture in the skin, ensuring it stays hydrated. The inclusion of emollients like sunflower seed oil, sea buckthorn fruit oil, and jojoba seed oil helps to enhance skin softness and overall condition. Together, these ingredients aim to leave the skin feeling smoother and supple without the use of harsh chemicals.

I am a little bit of a snob when it comes to what I wash my face with and I didn't LOVE all of the ingredients in this product, but I have no issues using it on my body. The smell is fantastic. The grit is small. I would say.... finer than Apricot Scrub, harsher than microdermabrasion scrubs. The smell was wonderful. I didn't experience any dryness and my skin didn't feel stripped after using this. I will definitely keep scrubbing my body with this moving forward.

Works really well to exfoliate. Its also quite moisturizing, my skin doesn't feel tight or dries out after use. Excellent price point for a really good product!

This is a high end quality product. The smell is great, not too strong or too faint.I use with a loofa, I feel I get more that way.It works well and leaves the skin feeling quite smooth and fresh. It's a bit expensive but you definitely get what you pay for. Great product, treat yourself

This Q+A AHA Exfoliator body scrub has a refreshing scent; I would describe it as a moderately strong scent in the tube, but the fragrance is less strong once the scrub is applied and lathered on the body. It has a gently abrasive but non-drying quality. You don't need to use too much product to scrub your entire body.

I enjoy using exfoliators throughout the week as I feel they do work in terms of a more thorough cleaning/conditioning of your skin. My experience with this product are that the exfoliating granules are a little on the larger side (which I think is fine since it is meant for general body use) and the mixture of cleanser leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed afterwards. Despite the (in my opinion) larger granules my skin does not feel irritated while exfoliating and I feel that they may be more efficient in terms of dealing with rough patches on the body. In terms of pricing and quality I think this is a competitively priced/designed product which provides good results.
