What it is
The product is a body scrub formulated with alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) such as lactic acid and glycolic acid, along with physical exfoliants. It's designed to improve skin texture by removing dead skin cells, potentially leaving the skin feeling smoother and hydrated. It is presented in a creamy base, providing an exfoliating experience while aiming to maintain a moisturized feel.
Key ingredients and their functions
- Lactic Acid - exfoliant
- Glycolic Acid - exfoliant
- Zea Mays (Corn) Cob Powder - physical exfoliant
- Glycerin - moisturizing agent
- Cetearyl Alcohol - emulsifier
- Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil - skin conditioning agent

- Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil - skin conditioning agent
How it works
This body scrub utilizes both chemical and physical exfoliants to enhance skin texture. Lactic acid and glycolic acid serve to chemically exfoliate by dissolving dead skin cells, allowing fresher skin to emerge. Zea Mays (Corn) Cob Powder acts as a physical exfoliant, providing a mild abrasive action to remove dry and flaky areas. Glycerin retains moisture in the skin, ensuring it stays hydrated. The inclusion of emollients like sunflower seed oil, sea buckthorn fruit oil, and jojoba seed oil helps to enhance skin softness and overall condition. Together, these ingredients aim to leave the skin feeling smoother and supple without the use of harsh chemicals.

Brand Collected
This works really well and smells awesome. I have very sensitive skin and this didn't cause any redness or itching. My skin felt great after use.

this exfoliator makes the skin soft and smooth and allows for products to be absorbed into the skin

Seriously. Almost everything I've tried from them is so good. This is actually the first item I tried from QandA. This scrub is not super coarse and gentle enough to use on my face even! The scent is soft and lasts after I'm done. It's perfect for pre shaving, and exfoliating behind the arms if you get rough skin there.

Instead of an environmentally unfriendly plastic bead, the exfoliating process in this scrub is from corn cob powder, as well as alpha hydroxy acid. The fragrance is warm, like a warm day at the beach. That could be because I associate coconut fragrances with pina coladas and suntan oil. It's very nice.

My previous experience with exfoliating scrubs is that while they do effective smooth out my skin, I'm often left feeling very dry like my skin has been stripped of moisture. For some reason, this one manages to not feel that way; even after a thorough scrub (especially on the underside of my arms and my outer thigh area, where emy skin can get the most rough or bumpy), my skin ends up being both smooth and still a bit moisturized. Granted, I would obviously still put on lotion after, but I notice I don't have to use as much of it to properly moisturize my skin. The scent is nice and something I definitely haven't had before, especially in a body scrub, but I like it!
